We're heartbroken that Kelly Malone has to move back to Philly for a bit (to take care of some personal and family stuff), as she's become a great friend to The Bold Italic – and to SF in general, boosting our DIY maker scene like no other. But if we have to bid her a fond farewell for a while, we might as well do it in grand style.

Kelly redesigned Speakeasy's taproom recently, and her friends are taking over the place on Feb. 23 for a Prohibition and carnival style bash, complete with games, bands, a kissing booth, photo booths, and more.
