What event will we find you at this week? I’ve been meaning to check out the “Seeing Gertrude Stein” exhibition at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. And of course the “Swampy” show at my gallery, but that is next week.
Where would you have your last meal on earth? Outerlands. In the early days of the restaurant, my last meal would be the macaroni and cheese, but now I’ll take any of their soups and homemade bread.
Where do you get your city gossip ? The Flop Box .
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? I have three: Matt Revelli , Matt Gonzalez, and PEZ (here's the blog he does for me with Joshua Blank).
Why do you love your neighborhood? It is the only neighborhood in the city with a Zephyr and Revolt tag.
What's your secret spot in town? Cafe International’s Turkish coffee and Sunday afternoon jazz.
