What's your most embarrassing SF moment? Accidentally writing a line about spanking in an email to Steve Jobs (wrong window) that later appeared on public record.

SF is... the geographic midway between my families in Hong Kong and New York; a short distance from the beauty of the rugged Californian coasts, Santa Cruz's amazing waves, and the Sierra/Tahoe ranges that fill with snow.

Who's your favorite local character? Mark Lukach, owner of @oceanbeach on twitter, an OBBulletin reporter, and TheScuttlefish writer. To know him is to know the word "stoked." He's not quite a celebrity but he's not unknown. And everyone knows his name around town.

What's your own secret spot? Sunset's Best Seafood Restaurant. That's its name. If it's good enough to make my dad from Hong Kong happy, it's good enough for me.

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? Pot + Pantry (Used cookware! So in love with this idea!)

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? Wired Magazine.
