What are you up to these days? I’ve been working with Jonathan Hirsch, creator of the seasonal reading series Clattering Loom , on a monumental mimosa brunch reading event at the Gallery 4N5. Expect not-to-be-missed music, readings, mimosas, and breakfast sandwiches on November 20.
SF is... one big group hug.
Where's your go-to date place? The Hot Tubs on Van Ness! Weird, fun, AND sexy!
Where's your secret spot? The Secret Alley would seem like an appropriate answer. It’s the dreamiest venue in town (and it has a tree house!).
What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? Clare's Deli & Late Night Kitchen. The French Dip sandwich changed my life.
What's your favorite SF institution? Rock out with your Knockout! Oldies Night at the Knockout with Primo Pitino has been keeping me dancing for six straight years. Honorable mention to Dolores Park and Thrift Town.
What would you change about SF? More well-paying jobs outside of the tech industry. It seriously affects the diversity of our culture if the only people who can afford to live here work in tech. And a couple more warm nights a year. Let’s get weird(er)!
