What are you up to these days? I'm getting ready to make some pretty big changes at D-Structure SF. The company has already changed dramatically from its original incarnation, but I still have bigger plans in mind. I'm starting my very own clothing line focused on charitable causes. Next to that, I'm working on a project that gets San Franciscans drinking more - and for less.
SF is... awesome. I have a huge crush on San Francisco.
Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Rooftops. I always love to relax on a rooftop. It's nice to be above the craziness of the streets and just relax with the city's skyline.
What do you get obsessive about here in SF? I love a good happy hour.
Why do you love your neighborhood? The Lower Haight is a really small neighborhood. Because of its size, you get to know everybody, and everybody looks out for their neighbors. This proved true when we all came together for those displaced by the fire above Walgreen's. Lower Haight will never become overly gentrified, yuppie, ghetto, or hipster because of how small and intimate we are. I love walking around the hood and knowing everyone else on the block.
Where's your go-to date place? I'm not sure if I have only one go-to place but I think I'd start at 15 Romolo for cocktails, head over to the Impala or Cafe Cocomo for salsa dancing, then grab a late bite to eat afterwards.
