SF is... the only place where I’ve ever wanted to live.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? Burma Superstar, Tea Leaf Salad. That’s an easy one.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Our house-pug, Maximo that hangs out in the Lobby of the Hotel Rex. Both him and his owner and front desk agent, Jeff Abenoja make me and our hotel guests smile on a regular basis with their outlandish behavior.

Where's your go-to date place? If I were to go out on a date I think my ideal spot would be Golden Gate Park on a Sunday; riding bicycles from the Lower Haight to Ocean Beach. My friends have a place by the Ocean so we would make a pit-stop there for Bloody Marys -and second opinions on my date.

Why do you love your neighborhood? The Lower Haight is alive. There are great, cheap places to eat, great classic SF architecture and it’s never too over-crowded.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? I love being able to promote urban transportation through our bicycle borrowing program at the Rex. We have Globe bikes that guests can borrow for free! It’s a great way to see the city and they look classy in our lobby.
