Katie Hintz-Zambrano Lean, Mean Writing/Editing/Idea-Generating Machine
is permanently flustered at the moment
Neighborhood: Noe Valley
Gig: San Francisco Editor, Refinery29.com
What event will we find you at this weekend? The Urban Spring event at The Factory, the Loose Leaf magazine launch party, and I'm finally taking in the Bill Cunningham documentary at the Embarcadero.
Where would you have your last meal on earth? American Grilled Cheese Kitchen! I'd have the Mousetrap sandwich and the smokey tomato soup. Ah. Salivating thinking about it!
What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? mira mira in the Mission. I need to go asap. The website looks adorable.
Where do you get your city gossip? I get the best scoops from local store owners, shop boys and girls, and designers. Then, I try to promptly publish them on Refinery29.
Why do you love your neighborhood? It's sunnier than other 'hoods and everyone, for the most part, seems to be in a good mood. It's a little "Leave It To Beaver"-y and I actually really like that!
Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? It's hard to beat a run around the Panhandle. I also love to go in and chat with the girls at Eel & Ermine when I can. I secretly want to be them and live in their little woodsy oasis and eat their homemade treats all day long.
