Neighborhood: The Mission

Gig: Former Chef of Bar Tartine, Good Evening Thursday, Serpentine, and the Slow Club

SF is... for lovers.

Why do you love your neighborhood? Saison and Esta Noche both belong and flourish.

What event will we find you at this week? The Julian Hoeber exhibition at the Silverman Gallery.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? My mother’s kitchen. I'd eat lasagna, marinated green beans, and spicy Italian sausage.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Danny Bowien from Mission Chinese Food.

Where's your go-to date place? It's a tie between Sebo and the bar at Quince. Both have incredible food and combine the right amount of casual with the right amount of elegant-as-fuck.

What's your own secret spot? Heron's Head Park.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Scribe Winery in Sonoma.
