What's your most embarrassing SF moment? When I dressed up in a nude suit, backpack, and pigtails for a themed dress-up party titled “Your Worst Childhood Fear.” It turns out I’m still afraid of unwarranted nudity.
Where would you have your last meal on earth? Is this my last meal before I emigrate to a city in space as a result of global warming? I’d probably go to Mandalay for sour vegetables, special noodles, tea leaf salad, and a ginger-lemon shandy.
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? N.W. Smith, hands down.
Why do you love your neighborhood? The paucity of straight men reduces cat calling to a minimum.
What's your secret spot in town? I like sitting on my friends’ stoop in the Lower Haight. It’s usually sunny, surrounded by succulents, and provides some of the city’s best people watching. Plus, their neighbors often leave behind day-old copies of the New York Times, so blue treasures abound!
Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? "Car Radio.Alarm," a.k.a. the dark, sweaty, musty practice space where my band plays. It’s the jam!
