Marjorie Boucher Fake Tourist

is on a city-wide shooting spree

SF is... effing crazy. Yet, so attractive.

Where do you get your local gossip? I eavesdrop while riding Muni. It makes my life look suspiciously drama-free.

Why do you love your neighborhood? The Tenderloin's got a big city vibe, yet it is small enough to feel like a town. It's totally walkable, and the ratio of cheap places to eat and dive bars to my sporadic income is perfect.

Where's your secret spot? My roof, because I can hear the bustle of the streets, but there is no one around. (But don't tell my building manager!)

What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? Han's Coffee Shop, only a couple blocks from my place. Perfect dive breakfast place. You gotta try their root beer freeze.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Free things to do, unique events, art gallery openings... basically I love having tons of options of random stuff to check out when I wake up.

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? The Curiosity Shoppe, on Valencia St. I haven't been in a long long time, and they always have new and funky things on display.

What would you change about SF? Lower rent!
