Who's your favorite quintessential local character? The sidewalk astronomer, John Dobson. He sets up a homemade telescope in the Inner Sunset and encourages others to come see the moon.

What's your favorite under-the-radar restaurant? I love the plantain burrito at Cu Co's in Lower Haight. Carmen has an infectious smile and knows I like it extra spicy!

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? I like to ride my bike to Ocean Beach. Watching the waves instantly reenergizes me.

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? Golden Gate Park. It still has unknown territory for me to explore. One day I will get a pair of roller skates and head down to the Skatin’ Place and join the Godfather (David Miles, Jr.) himself.

What do you get obsessive about? Finding treasures left on the street and deciding what to do with them.

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? I would like to check out the Comstock Saloon. Honky Tonk Sundays is calling my southern roots.
