SF is... full of stories. Every day a new adventure, a new personality, a new walk. I never, ever get sick of this city.
Where is your secret spot? Hands down, it's the walking path leading up to the Golden Gate Bridge. Surrounded by native plants and flowers, there's minimal people most days and it's the best view in the city. Amazing run there too.
What do you get obsessive about here in SF? I'm obsessive about food and a great place to get good shoes. Can I get a nice glass of wine and a salad for under 20 bucks please?
Where would you have your last meal on earth? It would have to be at Alembic – a throwback to the old school – there I can drink my celery and have tomatoes with burrata.
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Carol Doda. She was a trailblazer in so many ways in addition to being the first topless San Francisco dancer. I'm also in love with North Beach.
What's your San Francisco institution? Gotta be Golden Gate Park. Come on, it so beats Central Park, and where else can you go for an eight-mile run, see bison and Dahlias and a rose garden and soccer fields and a huge windmill?
