Where would you have your last meal on earth? I've always wanted to do the 11-course grand tasting at COI. Or else I'd just get a whole stack of banh mi from Saigon Sandwich.

Where do you get your city gossip? My ridiculously-comprehensive Google Reader, which took me weeks to curate and has everything from crime stories on SF Appeal to rapping contests on Haighteration to fancy apartment listings on Curbed SF.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Armistead Maupin. Tales of the City changed my life when I first moved here.

Where's your go-to date place? Range in the Mission is amazing. But sometimes it's fun to just bring a bottle of wine up to the top of Buena Vista Park, or all the way to the end of my favorite rickety pier by the Maritime Museum.

What's your own secret spot? This perch I discovered at the end of Macondary Lane (the original Tales of the City inspiration).

What would you change about SF? A warm night every once in a while might be nice.
