SF is... liminal, liberating, and a bit chilly.
Where would you have your last meal on earth? Upside down hog cakes at St. Francis – a little sweet, a little savory and very bad for you. At that point, who cares?
Where do you get your local gossip? Who told you I gossip?
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Tessa Wills. She's an art instigator/culture maker/transcontinental provocateur – a job title that could only exist in SF.
Why do you love your neighborhood? Book stores, burritos, and a bike lane.
Where's your secret spot? The roof deck of the Chronicle building. Great view and few people.
What's your favorite SF institution? It's a toss up between Creativity Explored and Hard French.
What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Dreaming up places to go with my Scoot membership.
What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? Campfire Gallery – just opened, and they've got pretty things in the window.
