Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Jason Brock and Dee Spencer singing songs by the likes of Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, or Sade at the piano bar every Tuesday night at Martuni's.

Why do you love your neighborhood? I love living near the Panhandle and Wiggle because I can bike to either Ocean Beach or the Ferry Building in 25 minutes.

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? Inside the observation tower at the de Young Museum for the views of Golden Gate Park and beyond.

If you could change one thing about San Francisco, what would it be? Connect the city with crosstown bikeways to make San Francisco more bicycle-friendly for anyone. 

What's your go-to date place? The Starlight Room atop the Sir Francis Drake Hotel with great city views surrounded by cheesy vacationers and convention goers so you’re unlikely to run into anyone you know. 

What's your secret spot in town? A favorite bench in Corona Heights Park for panoramic views of the city.
