Where does everybody know your name? About every corner I’d say. That’s what's so great about San Francisco. From the ocean to the trails, always a friendly face.
Where would you have your last meal on earth (and what would you eat)? In the kitchen with my Tina Dang and anything she puts in front of me. True story.
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Any member from the South End Rowing Club gets my vote.
What's your secret spot in town? The SF Art Institute with its amazing view at night and the aroma of oil paint can encourage "make out city." There are a few grassy knoll views as well. I’d be glad to send you a map if persuaded.
Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Sutro Heights Park and Lands End both provide the ultimate SF sunset experience, to say the least. Some coffee and toast from Trouble Coffee never hurt either.
What's your favorite San Francisco institution? Tosca Cafe is still quite timeless to me. Best to grab a chair when they open and catch a North Beach sunset while sipping on a White Nun.
