What's your most embarrassing SF moment? Blacking out in Golden Gate Park the first year I moved here and attended Bay to Breakers. Everyone was staring at me as I tried to find my way home on foot, MUNI, and BART, and it wasn't until I got home that I realized why. I had burned my face perfectly in half. One side was puffy and red, and the other side was normal. I was like Two-Face.
Where would you have your last meal on earth (and what would you eat)? Either at my Behind the Cart event and invite all my favorite food carts and trucks, or at Iso's Forage SF Wild Kitchen Dinner, hoping he had collected lots of mushrooms and seafood.
Where do you get your city gossip? My holy bible of fun and good times has to be Laughing Squid. I like to read the Chronicle's 96 Hours on Thursdays on BART. I now live and love The Bold Italic. I also use SFStation, Facebook, and SF Weekly.
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? I would probably have to say Chicken John. I read a lot about him on Laughing Squid and he ran for mayor right when I moved out here. Since then I ended up meeting and doing some business with him. He is a good guy with big dreams and strong opinions.
If you could change one thing about San Francisco, what would it be? Make it so the Bay Bridge had a bike lane the whole way.
What's your favorite San Francisco institution? The Curry Up Now food truck or the California Academy of Sciences. Actually, the Curry Up Now truck parked outside the California Academy of Sciences.
