Where would you have your last meal on earth? Benu, and I would eat whatever Corey Lee is cooking. He is a genius.
Where's your go-to date place? Aziza. It has a romantic yet casual vibe, amazing food, and the best cocktails in SF.
Why do you love your neighborhood? The Presidio is amazing because it's in SF but it feels so far removed. It's a peaceful, quiet, and beautiful alternative to the energy of the City.
What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? La Ciccia. For me, it's the best Italian around. And Massimo and Lorella are some of the warmest and most gracious people you could ever meet.
What's your favorite SF institution? Swan's Oyster Depot. So good, and literally around the corner from my job!
What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? Bar Tartine's new sandwich shop. They serve some of the most exciting food in the city and I love the idea that it's available all the time now.
