What event will we find you at this week? This Saturday I’ll be at John Vanderslice’s house concert put on by KC Turner House Concert Series. 
 

Where do you get your city gossip? Work! Where else to get the latest gossip but at Edo Salon? Or Mission Mission and SFist.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Our Lower Haight mascot, the Sleeping Bag Lady. She always has her sleeping bag tossed across her shoulders like a scarf – pants optional. Despite her crazy attire: a good soul.   

Where's your go-to date place? Anchor Oyster Bar. Must have an order of garlic bread to soak up the delicious broth of the cioppino and the grilled squid cooked by my good friend and genius chef, Taylor Pederson.  

What's your secret spot in town? Not so secret, but the Seward Street Slides. Nothing beats a late night whim to grab a cardboard box and slide. 

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Brunch at Foreign Cinema, a full body scrub by ladies of Imperial Spa, and a movie at the Sundance Kabuki. 

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? Bay to Breakers before they banned public drunkenness.
