What are you up to these days? Restocking the shelves at Park Life after a crazy holiday season, booking the gallery schedule for the coming year, and chasing down my tireless four-year-old, Hank. Looking forward to getting away to NY for a few days later this month.

SF is... difficult to sum up in a sentence. I heart SF though. 

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? John Held Jr., a key figure in the Fluxus art movement (mail art). He lives around the corner from Park Life and is a virtual encyclopedia of art history. I get nearly daily visits from him and I’m always treated to some interesting art history bits.

Why do you love your neighborhood? It’s diverse, unassuming, a little gritty, and has fewer lumberjacks than the Mission.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? I’m obsessed with wanting someone to open a taqueria in the Inner Richmond. It would make a million bucks.

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out?  Foggy Notion, Alissa Anderson's new store in the Inner Richmond.
