SF is... the city you love to hate.

Where does everybody know your name? Everyone knows me at the Attic bar in the Mission. I just retired from working there bartending and booking DJ's for 10 years. I guess that would make me "Norm."

What event will we find you at this week? "I Will Always" Art opening for Sarah Mead at Nooworks on Saturday August 6th.

What's your most embarrassing SF moment? Jello wrestling in a Canada versus America acid cabaret wrestling match that is now featured on late night cable access. Who knew?

Where do you get your city gossip? I get my city gossip sitting right here on my stool at the shop. People come in with their coffees from Four Barrel, sit in the lounge to blab and gossip with me. I love it.

Why do you love your neighborhood?  I've lived in my neighborhood for 14 years so it really feels like home. I know my neighbors and I've watched their kids grow. I've seen my friends open businesses on my street - like Workshop and Matching Half Cafe - and watched them succeed as the neighborhood all comes out to support. I also think we have the highest ratio of cute dogs.
