Where's your go-to date place? Out the Door is fantastic and fresh. I love the crisp $4 sav. blanc on tap.

Why do you love your neighborhood? We are surrounded by nature –  the Presidio, Golden Gate Park, Land's End, Baker Beach, Ocean Beach –  and the Richmond has the best restaurants without the pretension or wait.

What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? Gaspare's Pizza House and Italian Restaurant is great pizza, and the jukebox costs 25 cents for 3 songs.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? My garage is my painting studio. It makes me feel like a cave dweller.

What would you change about SF? Kitchens should serve till 2 a.m., drinks till 4 a.m.
