SF is... A bubble I am happy to live in.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Like many before and after, my move to San Francisco was influenced by The Beat Generation.

Where does everybody know your name? Blue Bottle in Hayes Valley.

What's your go-to date place? Absinthe for a drink or Foreign Cinema for a meal.

Why do you love your neighborhood? Bernal Heights feels like a village. Although it's much less of a secret than it was when I moved here in 1999, it still feels relatively undiscovered.

If you could change one thing about San Francisco, what would it be? A much more supportive environment for musicians and venues. Given the city's rich musical history you would think San Francsico would make it easier to create, practice, and perform music.
