SF is... a pretty sustainable city compared to the rest of the U.S., but not compared to other cities around the world.
What are you up to these days? Professionally, I'm knee-deep in writing about and giving commentary on the bankrupt solar company Solyndra that has turned into an Obama scandal. I'm also exploring the roads on my new touring bike.
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Bevan Dufty, he holds candidate parties at Lime, and judges dog costume contests in Duboce Park.
Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? Kabuki Theater, movie night in the bar and food theater. It's the way movies should be watched.
What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Biking. You can get anywhere in SF in under 20 minutes on a bike.
What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? Mission Cheese, cause it's cheese, in the Mission.
