What are you up to these days? Booking local San Francisco singer/songwriter Megan Slankard, producing live music events all over the Bay Area, hosting an open mic at Red Devil Lounge, helping local musicians connect with one another, presenting an acoustic bistro and strumming a few of my own songs from time to time.

What event will we find you at today? I'll be seeing an artist I represent, Megan Slankard, open for Train at the Great American Music Hall.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? Tacolicious and I would have the sweet plantain appetizer w/ fish tacos.

Where do you get your local gossip? Twitter and Facebook. I use both platforms daily for my promotions and tend to read a lot of random things while "working".

Where's your go-to date place? Greens in Fort Mason. It's sexy, vegan, and good. You can see the bridge, no one looks bad in that lighting and it's expensive enough for me to only go there on special occasions.

Where's your secret spot? My secret spot really isn't a secret at all. I love going for a beer at Vesuvio in North Beach. It's really touristy, but I just love it. The upstairs is cozy and I can feel the energy of the creative masterminds that have had their pints there in the past.

What's your favorite SF institution? The Fillmore. I get excited every single time I see a show there.  It's a dream to do a "KC Turner Presents" concert there one day.

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? SF Guitar Works. I keep hearing good things about their instrument repair, and I need some work done on a guitar of mine.
