What are you up to these days? I just got married and am expecting a baby girl by the end of the year. I'm also working with my family everyday at Mr. Espresso and opening the second location of Coffee Bar in the FiDi on Monday Oct. 10th!

Where would you have your last meal on earth? Perbacco. I feel very at home with the whole experience when I dine there.

Where do you get your local gossip? Facebook. I'm constantly surprised by how people throw their business out there on a daily basis.

Who is your favorite local character? Willie Brown. I think we should try to keep him alive for as long as possible.

Where's your go-to date place? Waterbar. My wife and I love walking down the San Francisco waterfront and stopping in for a drink or a bite.

Where's your own secret spot? My car with sports talk or music on the radio, with no phone. Or the gym.

What are your favorite under-the-radar restaurants? Lers Ros for authentic Thai food or Turtle Tower for pho.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Customer service, and people's driving. But not my own driving, of course.
