What event will we find you at this week? Howlin' Rain, Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound, and Meg Baird at the Hemlock Tavern on Thursday, June 30th. 

Where would you have your last meal on earth? Sushi Zone. I would eat as many orders of Baked Sea Bass with Mango as I could possibly cram in my mouth. 

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? V. Vale of Research Publications. He's one of the friendliest and most lighthearted characters in town, yet publishes books about the dark and quirky outskirts of pop culture like S&M, punk rock, and industrial music. 

What's your secret spot in town? The deli at Woo Ri Food Market on Fillmore & Geary makes insanely amazing marinated spicy tofu. 

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? Granny's Empire of Art is weird, amazing, mysterious, and inspiring.
