What are you up to these days? I am co-founder and DJ at the Haçeteria and Warm Leatherette dance parties, which both contribute in their own ways to the underground dance scene in the city. Besides collecting and playing records I am part of the synth duo Bruse, which aims to Build Rhythmic Unifying Sonic Environments.

What event will we find you at this week? On Saturday, August 4th  I will be DJing at the latest edition of Haçeteria: Motor City and Beyond featuring Magic Touch. Magic Touch is just getting back from touring Japan and South Korea and I can’t wait to see his set.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? It would probably be a chile relleno burrito from El Metate.

Where do you get your local gossip? Mission Mission, the SFBG, or SF Weekly's All Shook Down.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? I have had my breath taken away on a regular basis by the drag of Dia Dear. She does bold performances that really get under my skin, sometimes in a disturbing psychological way, other times in a beautiful utopian visionary way.  

Where's your secret spot? Um, if I shared it wouldn’t be a secret any more. Let’s just say I’m interested in regular access to pools and hot tubs in the city and don’t want to pay any money for it.
