Neighborhood: The Castro

Gig: Founder, PunkkiCo Dance Company

What event will we find you at this week?  I will be performing "Pick Cells" at Dance Mission, but if I wasn’t on stage myself, I would be at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts seeing Random Dance from the UK.

SF is ... the most amazing 3D city in the world.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? At home eating a medium rare filet mignon and vegetables that my wonderful husband would have prepared and some full bodied "bloody" red wine with it.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Sara Shelton Mann is a one-of-a-kind teacher, choreographer, and healer. Her teaching tools include balls, tape, and … a divining rod.

Where's your go-to date place? Mission Cliffs on Howard and 19th – a test of trust for your partner.

Where's your secret spot? Elisa's Health Spa on 24th St. We Finns suffer if we don’t get a dose of sauna time every now and then.

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? Lehr's German Specialties in Noe Valley. I have heard that they sell “salmiakki” (salted liquorice).
