Gig: Executive Director & Founder of the San Francisco Green Film Festival

SF is... the green epicenter of the universe.

What event will we find you at this week? The first ever San Francisco Green Film Festival! The festival runs today through Sunday, March 6.

If you could change one thing about San Francisco, what would it be? The whole city would be solar.

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? Academy of Sciences’ green roof.

What's the question you wish we asked? Why does SF need a green film festival? There were other green festivals and conferences, but nothing that brought issues to life with a powerful, visual immediacy, to have an impact and a call to action and show us things around the world in the way that other media can’t. Being environmentally responsible can be a fun community effort - it’s not all doom and gloom - and we are having some great parties to celebrate the green life movement too.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? In my dining room in my house eating Dungeness crab and a bottle of very good champagne.
