is grazing her way to greener pastures

Neighborhood: The Castro, Noe Valley

Gig: Founder of pop-up supper club 1 Degree

What are you up to these days? Fighting climate change through aligning my efforts personally and professionally.

SF is... playful.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? I'd pick some basil from my garden and make some pesto. Then I'd go down to Mission Pie and pick up some of their flour to make fresh pasta. Bi-Rite Honey Lavender ice cream for dessert.

Where's your go-to date place? Fly a kite on Bernal Hill – it's a quick scooter ride from home, a nice sun-shiney place for a chat and stroll, and not to mention the hilarity of watching the dogs chase the kite.

Why do you love your neighborhood? Great views, good sunshine, and a good balance of babies spilling over from Noe and naked men roaming the Castro.

What's your favorite under-the-radar SF restaurant? Local Mission Eatery, especially their Squash & Egg brunch item.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? I like to go out to Land's End, and walk down to the labyrinth for a quiet meditative moment. Then go splurge on oysters and Elderflower liquor champagne at the Cliff House.
