What's your most embarrassing SF moment? Out to dinner recently at Heirloom Cafe with a friend exclaiming loudly, "that looks like an older, more handsome Clive Owen," only to find out it was actually him - eating with Lars Ulrich no less - and he totally heard us.
Where would you have your last meal on earth (and what would you eat)? Cioppino and a very dirty martini at the Tadich Grill, one of San Francisco's most classic spots.
Who's your favorite quintessential local character? The Bush Man at Fisherman's Wharf. I love how he frightens the tourists. We tried to get him to come to the Treasure Island Festival, we even got his cell number! Alas, he was a no-show.
What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? Una Pizza Napoletana, I never made it to the NYC location and am thrilled they are now in San Francisco. The owner Anthony Mangieri is a renowned pizza perfectionist.
What event will we find you at this week? I'm heading to Park Life tonight to see The Mattson 2 and Tommy Guerrero perform. Park Life has a really cool show up right now called "Space Cake," which features works from Thomas Campbell and Kyle Field.
What's the question you wish we asked? Where do you find out about new music? Well, funny you should ask that, why don't you check out my free newsletter, myspoonful.com
