What are you up to these days? My group Not the 1s just put out a new rap music vinyl album on Oakland’s Gold Robot Records. And I’m on the board of a nonprofit called CASH Music, which is about to release a platform that brings free and open music tech directly to every artist who has a website.

Where would you have your last meal on earth? I’d do a burrito tour of the Mission. 1/5 of a veggie burrito at each of the five best stops in town.

Where do you get your local gossip (and why)? I check out Uptown Almanac and The Bold Italic, not really for gossip but to stay up on what creative people in SF are doing to make the city more interesting.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? SergDun of BeerAndRap.com and the Stay Hatin podcast for putting people on to hard rap, especially when he’s unearthing obscure Bay Area stuff.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? I walk in a random direction and find some pocket of the city that has stuff that I can take pictures of with my phone. If you’re on Instagram, I’m ericsteuer on there.

What's your favorite SF institution? Hopper’s Hands at Fort Point is pretty cool. I run out there once a month or so and it’s nice to see a tribute to people who do hard and honorable work.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Garage sales and flea markets.

What would you change about SF? Things should stay open later.
