What event will we find you at this week? I’ll be selling and signing my book at the launch of Dine About Town at City View in the Metreon on Wednesday, January 12th.

What's your most embarrassing SF moment? I was once filmed at a crazy drag queen party called "Toilet Room" that took place in the ladies room at The Warfield, and my boss saw the clip on public access the first week I started working at his ad agency.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? There is nothing like having Stu (server extraordinaire) at Bix shake up your cocktail tableside, and then smoothly steer you through an amazing meal (don’t miss the beef tartare!).

What's your secret spot in town? It surprises me how few people know about the bomb-ass turkey sandwich at Arguello Super Market.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? I love to ride my bike through Golden Gate Park to Ocean Beach, and get a macchiato and the BEST DAMNED TOAST EVER at Trouble Coffee.
