What are you up to these days? Teaching my son Cash how to hit a clean double, working on a new record for FYOD, finishing up the school year by instilling the most important of all human values (that life isn’t fair), playing a lovable loser named Sully in some crazy person’s movie.

Where would you have your last meal on Earth? Tie between Emmy's Spaghetti Shack or Walzwerk. At both places I’d drink heavily.

Where do you get your local gossip?  My wife Tanya Schevitz.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Matt Gonzalez. He came to my door one recent night with a couple girls who thought we had stolen an iPhone. The tracker was leading to our place… or close by.

Where's your secret spot? Jay'n Bee Club. Don’t go there unless you like strong drinks, old school hip-hop, the San Francisco Giants, and decent pizza.

What do you get obsessive about here in SF? Happy hour and Mexican food, don’t get me started.

What would you change about SF? The price. Good venues and people are shipping out daily because they just can’t afford it. There seems to be another gold rush right now around video games and phone apps and dating sites. I have no use for any of it and it’s bringing out the Andy Rooney in me.
