Where does everybody know your name? The Pizza Place on Noriega knows which red wine and seasonal greens to feed me.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Although Mr. Mono-dreadlock and Punk Rock Johnny Cash are both tempting selections, Frank Chu maintains such a unique combination of subversion, stoicism, and business-casual dress code (-ism?), that I'll have to go with him.

What's your secret spot in town? This one amazing little neighborhood on Bernal that's all connected by stairs.

What's your favorite San Francisco institution? I love going to see bands (and play shows) at The Hotel Utah because of its detailed wood carvings and veggie burgers.

What's the question you wish we asked? Where should the wealthy folks of SF donate their time and money?
