Why do you love your neighborhood? I live in the Presidio, a former military-base-cum-urban-park; skunk, fox, hawks and George Lucas are literally my neighbors. I also love that it’s an equidistant 10 minute walk out my door to the beach, or Clement Street.

Where do you go to relax and get away from it all? The courtyard at Flora Grubb. 

What local merchant have you been meaning to check out? The Audium.  It’s like a dream - I’ll hear about it, then I’ll forget about, then I’ll hear about it again. I’m gonna get there some day, really.

Who's your favorite quintessential local character? Darian Heyman. He’s the founder of the Craigslist Foundation and current partner at Code Green.  He’s one of the most genuine, smart, and humble people you’ll ever meet.
