Rara Avis products are hand-crafted in small batches using only the finest certified organic, wild-harvested, and human-grade ingredients. Every ingredient used is of extremely high quality; no chemical additives, lab-developed scents or flavors are ever used. When necessary, we use only natural preservatives such as Vodka, US-made natural non-GMO vitamin E, vitamin C, and grapefruit seed extract. Therapeutic grade essential oils and/or genuine hydrosols are added to our aromatherapy products for their powerful therapeutic qualities. Many of our products are enhanced by the addition of specially selected Bach/FES Flower Essences for their energetic healing properties. We use traditional, low/no-tech herbalist techniques to prepare our products with care.
