Like sister bookstores Red Hill Books and Phoenix Books in their respective neighborhoods of Bernal Heights and Noe Valley, Dog Eared Books greatly adds to the Mission's homespun charm. The small, independent used bookstore stocks current magazines, graphic novels and comics, new-ish book remainders and shelves and shelves of classics. Prepare to lose yourself in the $1 bins that sit outside the store on most non-rainy days or take a stool and stay inside.
