I am a translator of Classical Greek, currently completing a translation of Plato's 'Phaedrus' and considering turning it into a play or a haiku.

I met bold local Mr. James Nestor esq. in competition at the oldest lawn bowling club in San Francisco. Each time I fail to beat him my aspirations grow.

Stalking Mr. Nestor online brought me to this page, where I suddenly felt the need to write 'About me'. I have not written an auto-profile for too long and feel it might help clarify the definition of my self which seems to have disipated in recent decades.
