About Christine

I was born in Iran to a fighter pilot and a valedictorian. They lost everything in a revolution right before I was born and I often wonder what life would be like if that had never happened. My brother used to tease me because I have so much in common with Lisa Simpson: good grades, played tenor saxophone in elementary school, feminist, vegetarian. I don’t trust people that don’t like animals and I’m too empathetic to read the newspaper (everything breaks my heart). I wish I was really good at one thing instead of sort of good at a lot of things.
