About Elia

Besides writing, Elia's past gigs include human rights research in Bosnia, wine tasting in Croatia, jury of an international film festival in Belgium, monitoring elections in Central Africa, tennis instruction in Spain, Spanish teaching in the Czech Republic and selling Mexican sombreros in France. In spite of all that traveling, she has an appalling sense of direction.
