About Alexis

My name is Alexis (Lex, Lexy, Chubs, Alex, Monkey) and I can currently only get a quarter of a way through Quarterlife Crisis by Robbins/Wilner. I am 26, have been living in the city for 3 years, 7 months, 6 days...

During this time I have learned about the hoods of SF, deciding which ones are comfy-cozy for me, which ones I only go to because my friends guilt me into it, and which ones I frequent a bit too much or not enough.

I am not a connoisseur of wine or food, but I grew up with the best cook and baker around, and a family who drinks wine as if prohibition is soon to happen – so I know what I know from experience (who doesn’t?). I consume too many vodka sodas, love fashion but don't rely on it, run like someone is chasing me, volunteer for multiple nonprofits in the city, extend my happy hours well past 7 pm (when my bar tab instantly triples), have a costume box that is ripping at the seams, play dodgeball on Mondays and Sunday Recess on Sundays (duh!), love to write but don't do enough of it, am addicted to exercise like people are addicted to Uglee Dolls (weird, right?), and love my friends and family like it’s my job.

Oh, and for the minor deets of my life – I grew up in the bay area, went to UCSB, and am currently working in the corporate world, but wearing denim every day, at Levis®.

I smile and laugh often. Sometimes even pee my pants from it. Toodle-oooo, it's time to go explore this bombtastic city we call SF.
