Nina Eleanor Alter is a 20+ year resident of San Francisco, a cyclist, a food-ethics advocate, and proudly rooted in Potrero Hill. Her alma matter is California College of Arts and Crafts, which is what CCA was named before their marketing department got the better of them. She's a long-time product designer, a former art director in publishing, and briefly (and slowly, but rubber-side-down) raced motorcycles.

Currently Nina spends her days fighting the good fight to empower users online, by making technology a more usable, accessible, greater delight in the people's lives it touches. Yep, a techie. More fundamentally though, Nina is a proud native of the mighty Midwest, and hopes to never stop being an '80s punkrock girl from Detroit.

Jam Econo, callin' from the Fun House.
