Starting this month, you’ll be seeing more Los Angeles content on The Bold Italic. Although we’ve covered our unofficial southern sister city from time to time over the years, we’ve decided to experiment with daily dispatches from and about Los Angeles since so many San Franciscans are moving there, and since so many Angelenos live here now. Or, to put it a different way, as the borders between the cities get fuzzier from a population standpoint, we’re opening up the conversations on our site to include the biggest urban areas of California.
