Willow Rosenthal and Novella Carpenter - writers and Urban farmer extraordinaires - will appear at the latest installation of 18 Reasons' Dinner Conversation series to promote and read from their new book, The Essential Urban Farmer. But the foodie appeal doesn't stop there - 18 Reasons will also provide a delish dinner and wine pairing to accompany Rosenthal and Carpenter's staring of stories and expertise.
The reading beforehand is free (suggested $2 donation to help pay for the space) from 5:30-6:30PM at the Women's Building (on 18th between Guerrero and Valencia). The dinner takes place at 18 Reasons, one block down the street at 3674 18th St. 18 Reasons requests $15 for students,$25 for 18 Reasons members, and $35 for the general public.
