The Bold Italic is once again joining forces with Green Apple Books, Seedstore, Park Life, Foggy Notion, and other Inner Richmond merchants for our second annual ClemenTime Microhood. Happening on Thursday, Dec. 6th from 5 - 8 p.m., this neighborhood party will shine a light on Clement St.'s wonderful bounty, with great deals, free drinks, and lots of other awesome treats.

Green Apple Books will welcome a food truck out front, be offering free beer (while supplies last), plus an exclusive live music performance inside. In addition, there will be a drawing for a $20 gift card every 15 minutes between 5:00 to 8:00, no purchase necessary (but you gotta be there to win!). Local singer / songwriter Andy Asp will also perform at 6:30 pm. There will also be children's book readings in the mezzanine between 5 and 6 pm, for the little ones. 

Right outside Green Apple you'll find Doc's of the Bay food truck, serving the Bay's highest-quality cheeseburgers, black bean burgers, fried chicken, and Original Recipe Red Bell Pepper Ketchup.

Park Life will be doubling it’s inventory and expanded shopping into the gallery space in December. For ClemenTime they'll be offering free gift wrapping, raffling two pieces of art - get a raffle ticket with every purchase, also be offering holiday snacks, free beer and overall cheer.

Co-presenter Seedstore will be providing complimentary wine to visitors, be hosting an exclusive trunk sale, and providing free gifts with purchase.

Artist Alissa Anderson's shop Foggy Notion is celebrating their first anniversary with a party that includes a pop up from Heritage Mercantile, featuring beautifully curated vintage apparel, along with Alissa's own handmade wallets and other items. Food cart / moped trike, Satellite Republic will be set up right outside serving Georgian street cuisine.

Toyboat Dessert Cafe will be providing a free child size scoop of Chocolate Brownie Salted Caramel Ice Cream between 6 and 7 pm.

Outside in front of Seedstore, the Richmond District YMCA will be offering gift wrapping and crafts for children. 

Q Restaurant will once again offer a free order of their delicious tater tots with a purchase of $10 or more.

Kisha Studio is a women's clothing boutique that loves making their customers feeling happy and confident. For ClemenTime, enjoy a 15% discount on everything, as well as providing complimentary champagne and eats to folks that stop in.

Pretty Please Bakeshop will have free eggnog (spiked and non-spiked), buy-one-get-one-free on all goodies, and 10% off all holiday dessert orders placed that night. We will also have local musician Benjamin Brown performing live music.

Sparky's Balloons will have a fun Kids Activity Corner between 5 and 6:30 pm where kids will get a free twisted balloon animal. Adults will enjoy complimentary wine and nibbles, while shopping.

At Sparky's Toys, meet local plush artist, Gretchen Lewis, between 6:30 and 7:30. She makes extraordinary creatures made out of recylced materials (vintage sweaters, fleece, etc).  She will have her plush artwork on display for sale and you can pre-order some amazing pieces that your children can cherish forever. Wine and small bites will be available for parents, and Sparky's will also offer free gift wrapping and a free gift with a purchase of $25 or more.

Kumquat Art will have free sweets, free shopping bags, and glasses of wine for visitors. Please note that Kumquat will only be open until 8 pm.

One of the area’s oldest bakeries, Schubert’s first opened its doors in 1911 on Fillmore Street. Since the 1940’s, the bakery has been at its present location on Clement Street.Shubert's will be open until 9pm and will be handing out free Christmas cookies.

The Neck of The Woods, formerly known as the Rockit Room is a great bar that boasts lounge seating, three flat screen tv’s, a projector screen, pool table, juke box, board games, free wifi, fooseball table, and the friendliest bartenders in the city. For ClemenTime, come out for  live music and all beers and well drinks will be $3, with a few select beers available for only $2!

Covet Boutique (at 391 Arguello) will be offering a free jewelry gift with any purchase of $30 or more, plus wine, champagne, and sweets for visitors during ClemenTime.

Cafe Cumaica will be offering complimentary hot chocolate drinks.

THE EVENT IS FREE but PLEASE RSVP so we can get a count of how many are coming. Supplies are limited but the fun is not.

All ages are welcome, but most activities are 21+.
