Marion and Rose is one of the awesome little retail shops that have set up in downtown Oakland's storefronts as a part of popuphood, and The Bold Italic's pop-up shop has set up shop there for the through January 8! Come out on December 7th during First Fridays to our opening party, and help us celebrate our new temporary 'hood.

We'll be spreading the holiday cheer with tons of gifty goods for sale by Bay Area makers. Libations will be on hand, and rumor has it El TacoBike will be making an appearance with their authentico Mexican street fare. We'll also give out Bold Italic magazines to the first 50 folks that show up. 

Grab your pals and make an evening out of it. Because of First Fridays, the galleries will be hoppin' and popuphood's retail shops at 9th and Broadway will be all abuzz. Use this handy map to see what surrounding galleries will be playing host that night.
