Get Lost Travel Books and Gear

A rocket hangs from the 18' ceiling and the sun streams in all day through the wrap-around windows at Get Lost's store on upper-Market Street, in San Francisco. Crammed and cozy, the store features travel accessories, luggage, globes, atlases and over 9000 travel literature and guidebook titles. Our well-traveled staff is passionate about travel and while browsing around, you'll invariably hear accounts from returned travelers about their recent trips.

Our travel gear reflects our attitude about travel. It is practical and reasonably priced.

Since 1996, we have been a crucial part of the travel community in the Bay Area. Writers and publishers like Rebecca Solnit, Mark Kurlansky, Ariel Gore, Tony Wheeler, Sidra Stich and Erik Davis have read in our mezzanine. We are official sponsors of the Madcat Women's International Film Festival, the New Orleans Bookfair and the San Francisco Night & Day Challenge.
