City Kayak offers kayaking trips around San Francisco’s downtown from 2 locations.

From South Beach Harbor, City Kayak offers kayak trips to the San Francisco downtown waterfront, McCovey Cove, and Mission Creek. The water condition is mostly placid, easy to maneuver, and recreational touring kayaks are used for touring.

From Pier 39, City Kayak offer trips to world famous Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Conditions require more sea kayaking skills, and performance sea kayaks are used for these trips as the Bay waters present a little rougher challenge.

For the more adventurous, single kayak rentals are a great way to experience the Bay your way, alone and at your own pace. An hour is plenty of time to paddle to AT&T Park and around McCovey Cove, or to see the Bay Bridge from a totally different point of view.
